As of November 19, 2021, Health Canada approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 pediatric vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years old. Vaccines will be available at clinics in Toronto beginning Thursday, November 25. Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect your child, your family, and your community. It is a safe and effective way to reduce the risk of getting, spreading and becoming seriously sick from COVID-19.

CampTO is a creative camp experience that offers outdoor and physical activities, active and quiet games, arts and crafts and nature-based activities. CampTO is designed for maximum fun and safety for children four to 12 years of age.

The Summer Mentorship Program (SMP) gives high school students of Indigenous or African ancestry a chance to explore health sciences at the University of Toronto over four weeks in July.

Beginning on Thursday, January 20th, 2022, and held over 9 weeks, this semester will offer a weekly two hour blended course, incorporating foundational academic skill building and advanced implementation of these skills.
Throughout the course, students will be guided in developing critical thinking, writing, and reading skills, while engaging in assignments to challenge themselves and expand their horizons.
This program will also offer each student who successfully completes the course with a certificate.

Uprooted Jr
Beginning on Monday, January 17th, 2022, and held also over 9 weeks, this semester will offer a weekly one hour course, incorporating foundational skill building in the world of activism and community development skills.
Throughout the course, students will be guided in developing critical thinking, writing, and reading skills, while engaging in assignments to challenge themselves and expand their horizons.

The Black Girls’ Book Club is a space for Black girls to build community, explore new ideas, new stories and new ways of self-expression. The club is a forum to celebrate the voices and the stories of Black women writers.
