Description |
A 6 week program in which children learn the beginnings of arithmetic through concepts used in the real world such as measurement, estimation, counting, sorting, and graphing. It uses everyday materials and fun games to help them understand basic math ideas. 6 week sessions are offered twice per year. Contact Scadding Court for dates. |
Communities Served | Open to all children, provided that spaces are available. |
Languages Served | The program is in English, as it would be in the school system, however the staff speak Tagalog and Mandarin as well. The program has had children from many language backgrounds, including Spanish, Cantonese, Portuguese, French, Japanese, and Korean. |
