Description	Low cost or free workshops and presentations geared towards parents and children, as well as agency staff and tutors. The aim of the workshops is to support the learning needs of children, youth, parents and families. Organizations or community groups that serve under-resourced populations can host a workshop. Agendas are customized depending on the strengths and needs of the community. Workshop topics may include: Helping with homework; Helping children learn how to read; How to support children’s learning at home; Understanding the school curriculum; Building a positive relationship with the school; Understanding learning disabilities and other learning obstacles.
Communities Served	Under-resourced neighbourhoods or groups in Toronto
Languages Served	Workshops are delivered in English. Translation/ interpretation is the responsibility of the hosting agency.
