Description	“Preparing for post-secondary education can be stressful and confusing. Newcomers to Canada face even more challenges, require more support, and often have more questions. Come and learn how to apply for school and the different options and supports that are available to you as a student.” Topics include: Colleges and universities The application process Private colleges and adult education Training courses and skills development Student loans, bursaries and scholarships
Communities Served	No catchment area. All newcomers in the GTA are eligible to attend.
Languages Served	English. May be offered in Mandarin at some locations.

Client Outreach and Support Tips	Delivered regularly at all of the YMCA Newcomer Information Centres in the Greater Toronto Area (Scarborough, North York, Downtown Toronto). Participants must bring a PR card, Record of Landing paper, or Notice of Decision letter in order to register. Frontline workers can refer newcomer clients directly to YMCA Newcomer Information Centres. Please check the website or visit/ call the centres for monthly schedule. Pre-registration is highly recommended.
